Foxglove

At about 10:30 last night I had the impulse to draw this. The foxglove, you see, is a beautiful plant, and one I am planning to include in a painting. Obviously, I love this plant. I love most flowers, but this one is my baby, which resonates with me as profoundly as brugmansia. Plus, it's one more piece to put in my show.

The Convalescent.

This is my in-progress painting of Renata. Again I've employed the shattered prism motif. This time I want to make it more like sparkling jewelry. I think it's appropriate for Renata. She used to paint strange geometric angles right before her accident. I have about 25 hours left to complete this painting. With this piece I feel I am actually making a painting, instead of something that looks like homework. I am very sentimental about doing her good with something visually epic. I am trying my darndest!!

The Carpenter

It was a day of much progress as I've added more graphic information to the side. This is one of those pieces that hasn't settled well with me EVER. But I'm loving it more everyday.
